There are people you can’t forget easily.
On a breezy night in Los Angeles that I spent with insomnia, weed and my own thoughts, I had this melody in my head. I grabbed my MacBook and wrote the melody and lyrics in one take. I suppose it was my heart all along, that created this song.
I recorded the audio in one take (the lead vocal was recorded live during the taping of the video - it’s the official audio on Spotify as well).
Only the backing vocals were done in the studio.
The video was recorder in one take as well. There is one cut in the video. Can you find it? The rest is: rewind or fast forward. The bridge is the verse but rewinded back in time. Isn’t it scary & kinda magical that when I rewinded the vocals backwards, it sounds like I’m singing “I’m sorry” at some point?
